May I just say:

1. God bless Saint Michael's College crews that shovel/plow/salt walkways not only early enough for me to get to my 8:30 class relatively unhindered, but all day as it keeps snowing.

2. You should really all come see Peter Pan, cause we officially have enough money to have a real flying system. That's right ladies and gentlemen, Peter & co. are going to be flying (via wires, obviously). And it is going to be awesome. AWESOME.

i agree on the second point, not so much on the first.

if they were less on the ball, i might actually get a class canceled once in a while.

Here's the solución, and revaar will appreciate it: send the St. Mike's plows to the greater Rutland area. Because, today, when we should have had a snow day, but we didn't, even though the roads weren't adequately plowed. Mother of god.

Perhaps, but I think most professors cancel classes based on their ability to get to campus, not how well plowed the campus itself is.

And I really love that scene from Firefly. :)

Rutland's always like that. When the roads are clear, they cancel school. When I almost died twice on the way to school, and Bart crashed his car into a gate, we had school.

Pretty much. It's even worse now that I live in Mendon.

Here's a random question: did you ever meet a girl named Briana Combs? I don't know how to spell the name. She graduated last year from St. Mike's after going to RHS and now she's a Spanish teacher. I know it's a big school and you can't possibly know everybody, but I was curious.

The name actually sounds familiar... What year did she graduate from RHS?

Well she graduated St. Mike's in 2007 so I assume she was in the class of 2003 at RHS.
