Oops

We had a band concert tonight. I started band exactly 3 days ago, and had exactly 2 rehersals. Then we had a concert. Yup. I think I played about half the notes I was supposed to, which, all things considered, is not bad.

About the concert all I have to say is:
1. Marissa is cool.
2. Poor Paul.

So, the last movie quote was Spice World. I really like that movie. Janeea, Jean, and Becky all got it correct, and for a prize they get a list of all the Spice Girls things I own. Spice World, a tape, a cd, a poster, a T-shirt, four of the five barbies, (because everyone bought the Ginger one thinking it would be valuable because she quit), and a calendar. So there.

On to the next quote! "Guinevere goes to Lancelot. Bed him well, milady."

(Note: This movie IN NO WAY involves a man named Arthur. That is all.)

A Knight's Tale!! Oh man!! I love that guy! And that chick was hot! As was the guy...so it all works out...speaking of hot actors and actresses....really want to see the Mr. and Mrs. coming out...Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie....excellent....

i soo could barely play my clarinet when paul fell of the stage tuba and all. friggin hilarious. i totally saw the whole thing too b/c i sat angled that way (slightly behind mr. whitman w/ my back to the audience a bit). ahh, slo-mo paul's chair sliding of the platform while he grabbed the curtain, clutched his tuba and nearly took his music stand down with him. completely awesome. must give him a grace award. scratch that. must make a grace award and name it the paul in honor of such a classic move. i think i enjoy ben's description of the occurence most though. as he's sitting back at the timpanis he sees paul, looks at his music to play and when he looked back up, paul wasn't there. it's very hard to play a reeded instrument when one is trying to stifle one's loon-like laughter. (side note: do loons actually laugh? b/c we use that phrase a lot, and i can honestly say i've never heard a loon laugh. perhaps they do so in private in their "loon caves", but loons don't live in caves so that kind of blows that theory...oh well.) wow, rambling like woah. coffee is awesome at 10:30pm, especially when one comments like the wind....i should go sing badly and dance in my room like a lunatic to bad music now... laters gator(s)
p.s. one last "WHHHOOOO_HHHHOOOO" for the road, or stairs, whatever, nighty-night
