Dec. 2nd, 2005 09:46 amSo one of my new goals is to re-read all six Harry Potter books before the seventh one comes out. This serves to
1.Refresh my memory of earlier events
2.Make the time until book seven go faster
3.Distract me from my recent unpleasant thoughts
So I'm reading book one, and it's so cute. Cause I know all these things I didn't know the first time, like about Mrs. Figgs and why Harry can talk to the boa constrictor.
However, I had been under the impression that Sirius was introduced in book three. So imagine my suprise when I got to page 14 and Hagrid goes: "Young Sirius Black lent it to me." I was like WTF? They mention Sirius in book one? How did I miss that?
It was exciting.
And then he even says "I'll be takin' Sirius his bike back." Somehow I had always thought that the impression was given in book one that it was Hagrid's bike, and then later on it was revealed that he'd borrowed it from Sirius. Funny how the mind can remember things so wrongly.
