leia131There is a fairly reliable rumor cirulating the internet that they're making a movie version of Sweeney Todd with Johnny Depp as Sweeney and directed by Tim Burton.
If there are two ways to possibly even try to top the performance I saw in Nebraska, Johnny Depp and Tim Burton are them.
It's just so... perfect. Dark, sort of twisted/funny, with a moral... That's so very Tim Burton.
If this turns out to be true, I may just have an orgasm right there in the theater.
