I may devote my life to fanfic because of this author/story and become a hermit who will sit in front of my computer until my eyes fall out and my hands fall off. Then I will curl up and die a happy hermit death with a head full of Remus/Sirius love.
I have discovered two truly satisfying things, which I have found that there are not many of in life. One is reading a really good, fulfilling story, be it fanfic, nonfic, or otherwise. A story that makes you think, or feel all warm and fuzzy. Just one that makes you want to read it again, or share it with a friend so you can relive it over and over. A good story gives me an indescribable and induplicable feeling.
The other truly satisfying thing I have discovered is eating a really messy food, when no one cares what you look like, or is around to care. A food like barbecued chicken or smores, and getting it all over your face and hands, and just eating with no regard for manners or decorum and being messy and finally being full. Then you lick all the mess of your fingers and go and laugh at your face in the mirror. It is one of the best feelings in the world.
Just for Hannahmylove: There is a certain segment of the population who enjoy the sight of a scruffy werewolf in a waistcoat... (Like you, and me, and Sirius!)
