I had one class today.

One.

And it was at 1:00.

How cool is that?

It was Anthropology, which is just an awesome subject in general, and the teacher was awesome too. She doesn't believe in midterms or finals. She spent years living in Nepal studying refugees and Buddhists. She has written books. Not a book, several. So cool. And she gives out readings every night, then gives quizzes on them. I can totally do that. That's exactly how Peterson ran his class.

I totally feel this class. It is "not about memorizing names and dates, but about changing your view of the world."

Yay Anthropology!
I love libraries.

God I love libraries.

I love looking for a book, following the clues of call numbers and labels, and then finding it. It's like finding buried treasure. I get so excited about it.

I love running my hands along the spines of the shelves and shelves of books, and smelling their old-book smell.

I love being all alone, surrounded only by books and windows.

I love taking a new book home and cracking it open right away, and then having only so much time to read it. It makes it more of an adventure.

I am such a dork.
