Goddamn but it's good to be home.


Ok, so we went to K-Mart last night to buy my mom some gardening gloves for Mother's Day... And Phil is working there again/still. So I talked to him. And it was nice actually. But for the love of God, the coincidence is astounding. He seemed...sincere. And, shockingly, happy. I still think he's wasting his life, but meh. It is his life. So long as he's happy and Hannah is happy, more power to them.

And that's my final word on the subject. (At the moment.)



In a completely random and unrelated story, I want to know how one gets to be a pie contest judge. And then I want that job.

I still don't know when I'll be coming back to VT - it looks like it might be as late as the week after Memorial Day weekend; the thing is, it's a tough choice. My mom wants company down in PA, and I'd feel bad leaving her so soon - plus, I do want some time to relax and get to know the new place. But someone should be keeping my dad company up in VT, too, and once I'm there I don't know how long it will be before I make it back to PA...my point is, I want to spend my summer with both my parents, but it's not possible to be with them at the same time because of the dual-house setup. Confusion! But I'll make a post once I know my plans for sure. <3

It's sad and it's sweet and I knew it complete, when I wore a younger man's clothes.

You know, you could drop out of college and eat lots and lots of pie, hope someone sees your expertise, and then they'll probably want you to judge and train others to be as great as you. [You'll need more than heels; you'll need platform shoes... really high ones.]

Or just volunteer at a fair...
