I can't be the only person on the planet who thought the first National Treasure was stupid, and has no desire whatsoever to see the second one, can I?

There, I said it. I didn't like National Treasure. I don't want to see the sequel. People keep inviting me and, no offense to them, I want to see it so little that I'm not even willing to pay the eight dollars just to get out of the house and hang with my friends. In fact, the only good thing about National Treasure in any way is Jenn's Ben Franklin impression. Which never gets old. If I never hear another word about the new one, that will be ok.

I had to get that out. I feel so much better now.

P.S. The only episode of Futurama that I don't like is the one with Fry's dog. And I swear, that episode is on twice as often as all the other ones. I won't watch it. I refuse. It makes me cry, and I hate it.

national treasure wasn't just good, it was wholesome and family oriented while still being good. Which is rare this day and age.

AND THEY WERE ARCHAEOLOGISTS.

So I win.

I have no problem with archeologists, but I prefer Indy.

And I still thought it sucked.

I'm glad it doesn't get old. I do sort of want to see the new one, purely for new materiel. Is that wrong?

No, not at all. The history geek in me liked a *few* of the facts (even though I'm not a fan of facts) but Nicholas Cage SUCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! I hated that movie and I have no idea why they'd make a second one.

I half agree about the first one. I think it was incredibly hokey, but still fun and entertaining. The kind of thing you have to watch with children so you can take it with a grain of salt.

As for II? I have no intention of ever seeing it and can promise that I will never invite you to see it with me ;)In fact, we don't ever have to speak about it again.

Hope your New Year's was fun. Sorry I bailed, and see you soon.

Nah it's ok, you didn't bail. You can't bail on something you didn't commit to. :)

New Year's was lovely, how was yours?

I liked the first one because it was nothing like I expected and it made me laugh. Which is why I want to see the second one.
Plus, I hated it when it came out and accidentally watched it on TV and fell in love.

But I get what you mean about friends asking you to go see movies you don't ever want to see and you want them to please stfu or gtfo, but you can't say it to their face because you're too nice. That was me and that one Mark Wahlberg movie where he was a football player.

I mean, I love my friends and I've gone with them to see movies that I had no interest in and ended up loving said movies, but this one is just not something I care about.

Oh yeah, agreed, that's what I meant to put in, too.
