I mean, my mom doesn't know who Sirius and Remus are, but Neville! He's been around since SS!

I KNOW. And then I was like, "You know, Neville, he's the other kid who could have fufilled the prophecy, he went with Harry to the Ministry, he took Ginny to the Yule Ball in Goblet of Fire..." but then she asked me what the Yule Ball was and I gave up. She's one of those "they're just books, why are you so obsessed?" people. :)

Also, I think she does know who Remus and Sirius are, oddly enough. Though she asked me who Tonks was when she read in DH that Remus had married her.

It's really sad, because my email addresses all have to do with Sirius now, and my mom's like "Who is that, anyway? That's not how you spell 'serious', is it?"
And I'm like, "Mom, he's from Harry Potter. He's Harry's godfather? Remember?"

She did remember when we watched OotP, though, so that was good.
