Oy. My mom made corned beef and cabbage, and potatoes, and Irish sodabread, and shamrock shaped chocolate chip cookies for dinner, and I ate waaaaay too much and I love St. Patrick's Day.

Disclaimer for the folowing Star Wars charcters: I have not seen Clone Wars, nor read any EU stuff about them. So I am basing my answers purely on the movies.

Kit Fisto, for revaar

1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. Likewise if you dislike the character.
I heart Kit. He is awesome and green. It made me sad that he had to die, but he did. Cause all the Jedi did. Except Obi-Wan and Yoda. Though living as a hermit for the next 20-25 years isn't exactly a picnic.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
Not really. I mean, you have to have a lot of Jedi in the Jedi order, or it's not much of an order. But he doesn't really do anything important. He goes with Mace to apprehend the Chancellor, and Kit at least gets in a few hits before he gets killed, but he still does get killed before he accomplishes anything.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?
Since I don't know too much about him, not really. But he seems like a good guy.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
I still heart Star Wars.
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance or platonic)
I'd like to see his interactions with other Jedi, know who he likes and dislikes within the order. Also, he's not human, so God only knows what sort of romantic relationships he has. He looks like the sort of species that might lay eggs.
6) Is there anything about the character you would change?
I'd like to keep him alive.  :) Of course that messes with the main plot, so...
7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc)
Ooh, I'd like to ask him all the questions I said above. How does he get along with people, does he think Mace is a bit too serious, how does he mate, does his species lay eggs, etc. I'd be fascinated, and I think he'd put up with the obsessive questions.
8) Does this character make the cut as one of your all time favorites (if you like) or least favorites?
Mmm... Not really all time favorites. But I do like him, and I have his action figure.
9) Would you hype up this character (if you like) or warn about (if you dislike) to someone whose new to the fandom?
Yes. I'd tell people about the scene in AotC where he smiles in the middle of the battle. It's so cute.
10) Is this character popular with the fanbase?
You know, I think he is. He's a fun guy. And he's green. Who doesn't like a green alien?


Shaak Ti, for revaar

1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. Likewise if you dislike the character.
I LOVE Shaak Ti. I watched a deleted scene from RotS that showed her death and it made me cry. She is so freaking awesome. She's a female Jedi, and she kicks ass. Female Jedi don't get enough love for kicking ass. They only get loved on if they're hot. See next character.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
No more than Kit is. She's just another Jedi. But as previously stated, she kicks ass.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?
Well, she doesn't have any lines, but in her deleted death scene I cried, so I'd say she grips me emotionally.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
I still heart Star Wars. It hasn't changed.
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance or platonic)
No ships, but I wonder about her just like Kit. Actually, for some odd reason she strikes me as a potential lesbian.
6) Is there anything about the character you would change?
Once again, I'd like to keep her alive. Besides that, she's pretty awesome without my help.

I'd be all over her with the questions too. She's also an alien, you know. I'd especially like to know what the horns are for. Maybe they're for attracting a mate? They don't seem to be weapons.

Yes. She's my favorite obscure Jedi. In fact, she was the first obscure Jedi action figure I bought.

Absolutely. She deserves all the hype she can get. Particlarly for being an ass-kicking woman.
10) Is this character popular with the fanbase?
Not as popular as she should be.


Aayla Secura, for revaar

1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. Likewise if you dislike the character.
I really don't give a rat's ass about her. Everyone likes her cause she's hot and scantily clad, and it annoys me greatly. I kind of laughed when she was one of the five select Jedi who's deaths we actually saw in RotS. I was like, "wow, a thousand fanboys just died a little inside."
2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
No.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?
No.
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
More than I like her.
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance or platonic)
Every SW fanboy ships Aayla with himself.
6) Is there anything about the character you would change?
I'd give her some more clothes. I like Twi'leks, and it's a shame that even when they're Jedi they can't wear full shirts.
7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc)
Honestly, I'd probably just ignore her.

Nah. I don't like her, but I don't actively hate her either. I just wish she wasn't popular for being hot and half-naked.

She gets enough hype without my help.

Kagome, for siriusly_sex

1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. Likewise if you dislike the character.
I like Kagome. She's just an ordinary girl in a strange situation, making the best of it. She loves Inuyasha, but that's complicated, and she's living two lives, and that's complicated, and she's trying to save the world from Naraku, and that's complicated. And she's doing it all at the same time. So I cut her a lot of slack with the silly things she does sometimes. She's a good person, and she tries really hard.
2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
Yes. Yes, yes, and yes. Without her being Kikyo's reincarnation, and getting Inuyasha off the tree, and shooting the Shikon jewel into a bajillion pieces, there is no plot.
3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?
Who can't relate to being in love with someone who's too hung up on someone else to notice?
4) How much do you like the fandom that this character comes from?
A lot. Someday when I'm rich I'm going to buy all the episodes. But for now, I catch it when I can and wear my shirts from Hot Topic a lot.
5) Do you ship this character with any other character? Or, are you particularly intrigued by their relationship with any other character(s)? (romance or platonic)
Kagome/Inuyasha all the way babe. Someday he'll realize it. I also like her relationship with Sota. She really loves him, and he's way nicer to her than most little brothers are.
6) Is there anything about the character you would change?
I'd have her actually be in a relationship with Inuyasha. But that really involves changing him, not her.
7) If you were in the fandom with this character or knew this character in real life, how do you see yourself interacting with him/her? (Would you get along well? Fall in love with? Dislike? Friendly rivalry? etc etc)
I think I'd be friends with Kagome. I really do like her, and I think we'd get along. Maybe I could help her with all the schoolwork she misses while she's in Feudal Japan.

Not all-time favorites. But then again, I tend not to favoritize main characters.

I don't think she needs much hype. She is pretty much the second main character.
10) Is this character popular with the fanbase?
Yes. Though they tend to ship her with Sesshomaru a lot, which I just do not understand.

I swear I'm going to do the Harry Potter ones, just... In yet another post. Because I'm watching The Luck of the Irish on Disney, and I want to pay more attention to it now that the mom's a leprechaun. It gets more interesting from this point on.

you know, if you watched the clone wars, all of the obscure jedi have bigger roles. in fact, the main characters (aka anakin, obi-wan, yodi, mace, palpatine) are only like 1/3 to 1/2 of it. that means the rest are random jedi kicking ass.

I'd have her actually be in a relationship with Inuyasha. But that really involves changing him, not her.
And we all know how trying to change Inuyasha goes... ;)
