Oct. 14th, 2014 01:48 pmSo, I'm finally caught up on Agents of Shield, and I have something to say.
Ward is FULL OF SHIT and not one single person on that team should believe for one second that he isn't. Yes, he's feeding you accurate information about Hydra. This is only to lure you into believing him, so he can fucking screw you all over again in the future. Don't buy the suicidal crap, Skye, and don't let him sweet-talk you about your father. He is an asshole, plain and simple, and nothing he ever does will make me trust him again. You shouldn't either.
It was absolutely heartbreaking (and an excellent bit of acting, I must say) watching Fitz interact with Ward. I almost wish Fitz had killed him, but I wouldn't want him to become a killer just for fucking Ward, and I'm all right with the team using him for information... As long as they never let him out and the show doesn't try to redeem him. He is SO not worth it. Also, Ward claims that he gave Fitz and Simmons a chance to find a way out of their impending deaths, but that's bullshit too. The only reason he didn't shoot them is because they ran from him and hid in that box (which he then jettisoned into the ocean). He only didn't shoot them because he wasn't able to, and he had no idea that they would be rescued from the ocean by Fury (or anyone) even if they did someohow make it out.
In conclusion, show, Skye, and Fitz, do not believe a word Ward says, ever again, if it has anything to do with his motivations or him feeling guilty or bad. He's an excellent liar and he's surely lying to you now just as he was last season. in real life, I am all about redemption and forgiveness, but in this (fictional) case, I really don't think there's anything Ward can do to make up for what he did to his team, especially Fitz.
Thank you for your time.

Date: 2014-10-15 04:28 pm (UTC)All the awards for Fitz. Okay, Iain. Cause he's breaking by heart every week!
I love how Ward's cell is in a room with no lock. Cause Fitz just opened that door like it was the janitor's closet or something. They didn't show if Fitz or someone else reversed the sucking-out-of-the-oxygen of Ward's cell (I imagine Fitz did before running to tell Mack what he'd found out). I'd also like to believe that Ward doesn't have enough brain cells for the lack of oxygen to do much damage.

Date: 2014-10-15 08:45 pm (UTC)I'm assuming Fitz did reverse the Ward air situation (unfortunately), because later Coulson said "You almost killed him."
P.S. I KNEW Simmons wasn't really Hydra. I'm so scared for her being there undercover though.
