I was reading Good Omens this morning, an excellent book that my excellent friend Hannah bought me for Christmas, and I was thinking about how I made it through 100 pages in two days. Then I thought about how it took me like two months to read a 300 page book for English class, which if I had read at this rate would have taken six days.

So I came to the conclusion that if English teachers were really smart, they would choose books for class that people actually want to read, and that are more interesting than your average classic. (This does not mean that all books from English class are boring and stupid. Just most of them. I loved the Great Gatsby.)

Anyways, then I got to thinking that if I were an English teacher, I would have my class read Good Omens. And then the students would have to write an essay, citing textual evidence, on whether or not Azriphale is in fact gay, as stated on page 62 of the paperback version. "Probably a faggot"

I amuse myslef immensely sometimes.

If you have not read Good Omens, I highly recommend that you do so.
