The Renaissance Fair was good.

It wasn't as good as it's been in years past, but it wasn't bad either. I think a lot of people had left because it was the last day.

The handpainted glass people were awesome and sketchy. Yay sketchy people!

And the theme was all A Midsummer Night's Dream with Obaron and Tatiana and a changeling boy and everything. That was exciting.

As was Katie Ahearn, who had rather a large part and an indeterminate Eastern European accent.

They did Willy Wonka's Witches which was Macbeth only not, and I volunteered to play MacDuff, because he and his champion, Malcolm, win in the end. Yay winners!

I had fun. I bought a candle holder and a ring for me, and one for Janeea. (There were no circlets! I was so sad!)

That's all. Now I'm off to read Life of Pi

I noticed there didn't seem to be a lot of people there. But the chess match was fun and you looked hot in that hat ;)

Thank you!

The chess match is usually the best part. I loved watching Bart get his butt kicked.

I'm so sad I had to miss it, but I'm glad you had a good time! It sounds like fun - and I'm sure y'all snarked enough to make it even better ;)
