Megan's Sunday, in Three Easy Steps:
Oct. 9th, 2005 11:59 pm1. Watched Fever Pitch with Mom and Dad today. Loved it. There's nothing like Jimmy Fallon, the Red Sox, and a good love story to make a girl happy.
"He became one of the most pathetic creatures on Earth; a Red Sox fan."
If you can't admit and appreciate that, then you haven't been a Sox fan for very long. That's all I have to say. (That and THE YANKEES ARE GOING DOWN. GO ANGELS!)
2. Went to see Wallace and Grommit, Curse of the Were-Rabbit also with Mom and Dad. Thought of Hannahmylove while ordering tickets, and Ryan Rainville every time cheese was mentioned. (He used to look at my in Physics at least once a week and go "We'll go where there's cheese Grommit!")
Were some very very very suggestive bits in it for a G-rated movie. The part where Lady Whatsername describes the silken flesh of her prized carrot, ending with, "Just imagine how it would taste!" for example. Yeah.
I should not be allowed to see children's movies. But really, I don't think I'm making that into more than it was meant to be. A little smutty humor for the parents, I think. (As was the scene where she was holding two melons in front of her chest and saying that Victor didn't have any interest in her produce.)
3. Kidnapped/rescued Emalee and had roast pork dinner and ice cream. Mmmmmm.
Yeah. It was a nice relaxing family bonding Sunday.
P.S. I want a bunny.
