Another Rant (Since My Music One Went Over So Well)

While we're on the subject, neither is this:







THEY ARE BOTH APES. MONKEYS HAVE TAILS. APES? NO TAILS. (And that's only the beginning of their differences, but for people who use the sentence "Her and me don't get to hang out a lot," we'll stick with the tail thing. Honestly, the lack of proper grammar in the youth of this country is the reason for the downfall of Western civilization. The View From Saturday? Anyone? No? Well, that's a whole other rant anyways.)


Let's review: CHIMPANZEES AND GORILLAS ARE NOT MONKEYS. THEY ARE APES. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, BUDDAH, MUHAMMAD, RAMA, THE GODDESS, THE SHIRE, AND LITTLE GREEN APPLES, PLEASE STOP CALLING THEM MONKEYS!!!

That is also one of my pet peeves.

Also, speaking of grammar, for some reason most of my friends at school say "should have went," as in "I should have went with you to the movies," and I always have to bite my tongue to keep from yelling "It's should have GONE, people, GONE, what is WRONG with you??"

I read The View From Saturday. It was awesome.

I love you.

I feel that way about things like "I went swimming in the Chittenden Dam." May I remind anyone who appreciates logic that the Chittenden Dam is made of CONCRETE and is therefore very difficult to use for swimming purposes.

We all have them, hon. And I will take great care to remember the monkey thing. ;)
