So now I have finally seen Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Things blew up. Reid and Sue got married. Johnny was hot (literally and figuratively). I laughed. I expected it to be very predictable, and it was, for the most part, because no one goes to see a superhero movie wanting to think or be surprised.

Except for the part where Sue died, at which point I freaked out. I was like OMG WTF SUE CAN'T DIE! CAN SHE?

No. She can't. The Surfer brought her back to life, though I'm not quite sure how. Somehow, by waving his hand in front of her face and making reference to their earlier touching conversation, he healed the giant wound in her abdomen. Whatever, I'm not complaining. I didn't want her to die.

I guess the Surfer's just awesome, cause he also killed Galactus, without dying himself. But I have no idea what he did, besides refusing to serve Galactus any more. Apparantly that was enough to kill the devourer of worlds. Maybe the shock of someone standing up to him killed him?

And Victor came back (which I knew he would). I heart Julian McMahon. He just playes suavely evil SO WELL. Reid told them not to trust Victor. I told them not to trust Victor. Dad even told them not to trust Victor. They didn't listen. And Victor killed them dead.


Anyways, I liked it. I still love Johnny, and he still gets the best lines.

Reid: *grows a pair and stands up to the general*
Sue: I am so hot for you right now.
Johnny: Me too.

I can't stand Fantastic Four for a multitude of reasons, and the fact that it became ANOTHER superhero movie is no help.

Silver Surfer has crazy galactic powers that include psionic abilities and healing; he's basically God on a surfboard.
