1. Maybe it's just me, but I really don't see anything wrong with the word come. There's absolutely no reason to ever use 'cum' in place of it. No, really, there's not. ESPECIALLY if you're not talking about sex. If you write "I'm cumming over" or "cum and get it" I may have to kill you. If you use 'cum' in a sex scene, I'll be a little more forgiving, but it's really not necessary. You can spell it properly and I'll know what you mean. I am an intelligent person. You don't need to write things out phoentically for me to understand.

2. THERE ARE FOUR MARAUDERS. Whether you like it or not, Peter Pettigrew is a Marauder. If you're drawing or writing about the Marauders, especially during their time at Hogwarts, INCLUDE ALL FOUR OF THEM.

"I'm cumming over" or "cum and get it"
Now that just makes me giggle.

I always used "come" as a verb and "cum" as a noun.

That's the most acceptable way, but it's not really necessary. If you write "his come is all over my hand" it's just as good.

I always wondered why it WAS "come" in the first place. Let me look, in a totally safe way (because Google would NOT be the best option for searching this):

http://archives.stupidquestion.net/sq10603.html

It used to be the verb for "to orgasm" said like, "come forth with it." Man, is there anything dirtier than doing a Puritan chick as she screams "Come forth with it?" The world must know this new turn-on. Though I'm sure it's been Rule 34'd already :/

The fact that you know what Rule 34 is makes your comment even more awesome than it already was. (Which was pretty awesome, cause I love knowing weird things like that.)

1) I didn't really care it until I read a really good fic that used "cum" and it annoyed me, because I thought "It's written really well, and yet you used cum'...?"
But I still don't really care. I just notice it more now.

2) YES. I mostly agree to this because I would probably be Peter (the awkward kid who tagged along, sans the betraying act).

I didn't used to give it a whole lot of thought, but now for some reason it really bugs me.

And where is the Peter love in the world? I mean, he was a dirty traitor, but before that he was a beloved Marauder, so highly trusted that James, Lily, and Sirius agreed to trust him with the Potters' lives. Fanbrats annoy me. Juut cause he's not pretty, he's not a real Marauder.

Ugh, I know. I always see cute little drawings of my OT4, but Peter's almost never in them.
And besides! The professors were saying that Neville = Peter and Neville is plenty pretty.

Agreed on all points. I love Neville. And he is pretty. I see no reason why Peter couldn't have been awesome during their school years. I mean, how evil can you be at 11? (Well, Tom Riddle was, and Draco's always been an ass, but it's not like Peter was planning to betray James from the moment he met him.)
