MY LAPTOP IS BACK IN MY LAP, AND IT IS FIXED. YAY!!!!!
And to celebrate, more babble!
Ok, I have to stop now, though I may come back to this topic later. Firefly is on, and it's terribly distracting. :)
Simon: This may come as a shock, but I'm not very good at talking to girls.
Zoe: Why, is there someone you are good at talking to?
And to celebrate, more babble!
The first episode of Criminal Minds I saw was the second half of one about... The Fisher King, or something, and I really had no idea what was going on. It was incredibly intriguing though, and when it was on directly after the Super Bowl that year, I watched it. That episode was a two part, Reid-centric one, with James van der Beek, and I was HOOKED.
See, when I watch crime shows, I really like to follow the case and not have too much extraneous plot having to do with the characters' angst. What I like about Criminal Minds is that all the character angst directly relates to the case at hand, and even though I only watch it when I remember, I can still follow what's going on with any given character.
It's also just so very interesting. All the cases are really really engaging, and I'm never bored while watching it. Plus it's funny, and I love a little humor with my death and psychobabble. And the best thing EVER is when one of them goes off and analyzes someone to their face, just to prove that the science of profiling really works. It's quite amusing and impressive.
I also love Spencer Reid with all my dorky heart. And Garcia.
Then there was that awful season finale, and I really can't wait for it to be fall so I can see WTF that was all about.
I do miss Mandy Patankin though. He was really good on that show, and it's a shame he left.

Date: 2008-06-07 06:12 pm (UTC)I started watching the show from the very first episode so I've been hooked for a while now. It's interesting that the first episodes you watched was the one where Reid gets kidnapped. I really think those two episodes had more character development than the rest of the show in its entirety besides smal references to other chatacters' pasts. Has Emily always been on the show since you've been watching or do you remember elle?

Erm, I'm bad with names. Which one's Emily?
