In a similar vein from my last post, I believe that Brendan Frasier should win some sort of award for being in not one but TWO completely unnecessary, overly CGI-ed, adventure epics in a single summer.
Oh Brendan, you poor poor (attractive) sap. You're better than this, you really are. If you believe it, America will too.

And that is just annoying as fuck.

Honestly, I feel the exact same way. He's very, very attractive, fills out a pair of suspenders, shirtsleeves, and breeches nicely, and you know what? He's not a terrible actor. I've seen much, much worse in far, far better movies.
The thing is, if he doesn't want to be a serious actor that's fine. But he's done some really well done crappy movies (if that makes any sense), like "The Mummy" and "Bedazzled." There's no need for a billion super-feces-tastic sequels or really poor CGI stuff.
Brendan, DEAR Brendan . . . you ARE better than this.

Date: 2008-07-08 02:51 pm (UTC)Oh, the suspenders. I don't know what we'd have to do to get those brought back into fashion, but I'm willing to do it.
I understand well done crappy movies. I love the second Mummy, and it's pretty bad, but it's still enjoyable. Also, Center Stage. :) He could be so much more, without being serious. Have you ever seen the episode of Scrubs he was on? He was so good!

I is confuzed.
