"Luke, I am your father." (insert high-pitched voice here) "No, that's impossible"! And proceeds to fall into the giant abyss. Now lets send him a card.
Dear Mark: Hi there, me again, that devoted fan, who's seen Time Runner...twice, as well as played through Wing Commander three and still doesn't understand why you were in it, but am happy that you were. I just wanted to say Happy Birthday. No, this isn't going to be another one of my "WHY AREN'T YOU DOING MORE LUKE SKYWALKER MOVIES?!?!?!" or "Can you send me a recording of you making lightsaber noises and screaming 'No, that's impossible." No instead, this is a letter for thanking you for not taking the road that Carrie Fisher or Harrison Ford took, the road that leads you to try to find fame that forgets your roots and instead you took the road that embraced those roots and made a very large tree of flourished....stuff. You acted in movies that were either poor copies of Luke Skywalker, or you acted in movies and cartoons (yay simpson's spotlight) that completely embraced or made fun of the role. Some how, by doing this, and becoming my hero in the process, you managed to make yourself just as large as Harrison Ford or Carrie Fisher.
Thank you Mark Hamill!
Thank you and Happy Birthday.
I think I'll go watch Time Runner again. --Matty McDevotedFan
