People, people of the world and people of Facebook, especially: I am only going to say this once, so sit up and pay attention. You may even want to take notes. Ready?

A super cold day (or week, or month, or even year) in a single place on the whole earth does not disprove global warming climate change. Seriously.

I mean, I know that you're joking. But there are far too many people that still don't believe in climate change, and you're not helping. And if you're not joking, then I sincerely hope that either you go and educate yourself immediately, or that a polar bear eats you.

....and a polar bear eating them would be accurate, because although it's currently the popular theme, polar bears don't actually drown to death at the moment - they die of starvation because of a lack of food sources like seals and such. A really smart girl I know told me that. Just saying.

YES, ugh, it's so painful to hear people say that.

If anything, it proves that global warming is real. I just wish it wasn't called "global warming" because it's screwing with everyone.

I like your polar bear idea. Maybe it'll mean that polar bears will adapt to living down here and they'll procreate and it 'll be awesome.

One of my professors was explaining how global climate change was actually a direct cause of the ultra-cold winter we're having in NC right now. Sadly it was after I posted this.
