I am thoroughly impressed with the literary talents of my English class, and that is not something I thought I would say about a high school English class. Ever. We wrote satires, and some were funny, some deep, and some just cool. Mad props to Heidi for satirizing "old women with perms" aka MRS. COSTELLO. I also rather enjoyed Cory's tale about "dirty, loud music-loving hippies" and Pat's exceptionally deep account about Kyle. But I think my favorite one was Alex's essay on religion, with his commentary baked right in. According to him, in complete jest, wicca is "a made up religion that was invented by a 30 year old Dungeons and Dragons master when he was high on LSD."

I know that's not true. It's just funny. Don't yell at me. Even Renee laughed.

I also spent an exorbitant amount of time at Kelli's today. Man, her mum can COOK! *Sigh* Just thought I'd say.
