So I may be doing the meme... We'll see. However, I am contemplating starting a real blog, possibly not even on LJ. Wait, what? I know. But I came to the conclusion that I am way overdue to start writing an entertainment blog. So far this year I've been to 7 movie premieres (and had passes to 5 others I wish I had used), a bunch of movies I had to wait to be officially released and pay for (boo), 2 music festivals, 2 other concerts, 2 professional sporting events, and a ton of other stuff. And Jim and I are going to Cirque du Soleil for his birthday. And I'm going to try to get some friends to go see another concert with me in November. It's kind of ridiculous. I'm nervous though, and it'll probably be really rough at first since I haven't really written anything besides reports and memos for the past 4 years. Ugh.

Thoughts? Words of encouragement? Advice?

Sorry Kelli, this got shoved into my Spam folder for some reason... In any case, I think that sounds like a great idea! I always love reading what my friends have to write, especially about movies.

The one piece of advice I have about reviews is that they tend to be more popular/receieved better when they're at least a little funny, even if it's a negative review. Let me know, if you decide to do it, where I can read them!
