I just want to record this here now, so I can look back on it later and see if I was right or not: I predicted last week that the direction Once Upon A Time is headed is Regina doing a heel face turn and joining forces with the good guys to fight a larger evil. Of course, that larger evil is her mother (Andrew said Rumplestiltskin, but I shot that down) and after this week's episode I defnitely think that's where we're going.

I have to say that I dig this direction (as long as we all keep in mind that Regina did kill people, people I Emma loved) but she's definitely more of a sympathetic evil than her mom. Also, Reggie being the villain is so last season. ;)

And I didn't tear up towards the end of this episode, swear.

P.S. I am not sold on Mulan. I don't know what it is, but I just don't like this version of her (which is weird, since if you know me, you know I can RECITE Mulan backwards and forwards. LOVE that movie.)

I actually see that happening too, once she realizes that her mother is alive she'll want to see her destroyed. Which could be fun to watch.

I totally teared up at the end, omfg.

We're on the same boat with Mulan, I dunno what it is either but I'm like eh about her. Which doesn't make sense since I love Mulan so. (But I don't like the actress at all so that could be it)

Yeah, I think Jamie might be the problem. Her acting seems very... I don't know, wooden? Like, she's trying for stoic and suppressed emotion-y, but it's coming off as bland and stiff and uncomfortable.

Mulan is spunky! I realize this is a different version, but where is the humor and bounce in her?

On the other hand, I LOVED Lancelot, and I hope Cora is lying and she didn't really kill him. :(

i'm dying to see where this is taken, and i think you're right. definitely regina will team up with emma (+ the good ones) to fight her mother. i'd love to see that happen as well, even if i'm not too sure how powerful she can be considering how she's been locked up and all.

Well, Cora seemed pretty in control of her powers in that episode, so I think she'll be pretty dangerous. Then again, who knows how that power will translate to the real world?

i have to agree. also, i'm hoping she saying that she's killed lancelot was some type of bluff.
