One Quick Word About Les Mis:

I loved it!
Surprisingly, I actually liked/preferred some of the changes they made, and my only real complaint is that the director was clearly not as big of an Eponine fangirl as I am. But I haven't got time to do a full review right now, so look for that later!
P.S. The singing was not as good as it maybe could of been, but no one was dreadul either. Not nearly as bad as Sweeney Todd. :)

Date: 2012-12-27 06:05 am (UTC)Go see it! It's rather long, but definitely worth it. More thoughts coming tomorrow, I think, since we're kind of having a snow day and I'll have lots of time to type.

Date: 2012-12-27 06:02 am (UTC)Oh, and the thing with Sweeney Todd is that I was so in love with the play, and the recorded stage version I have on DVD, that it was probably doomed with me from the start. (It's me, not Sweeney?)
