Mulan totally has the hots for Aurora, not Phillip, doesn't she? The internet had it right for once! It's a tad cliche, her being the woman warrior and all, but I'm too excited by the possibility of Disney lesbians to care. :D

Also, I totally called Robin Hood being The Guy With The Dragon Lion Tattoo.

Also also, Tink, honey, what happened to you was kind of your own damn fault. Reggie didn't ask you to help her, or to steal that pixie dust, and you don't know that the Blue Fairy (who I LOATHE, she is SO MEAN) wouldn't have done the same thing to you even if you were successful with Regina. Just sayin'.

My earliest memory is from my second birthday party. I had a Big Bird cake (I actually only remember that detail because I have a picture of it, but still) and I was all excited to blow out the candles... Then my friend Devin blew them out before I could. I was PISSED, and I told my mom, but she either didn't believe me or just didn't care. I can still remember how angry and slighted I felt, even though that was 24ish years ago. Obviously it was a big deal to me. ;)

Yeah, I took the Mulan-Aurora thing as Mulan being in love with Aurora and Aurora being oblivious to the fact. “Unrequited love”. I thought that last scene between them was Mulan going to confess her love to Aurora but didn’t once Aurora said she was preggers (and made the split-second decision to go join Robin's gang since there was 'no chance' for love for her there, since Aurora seemingly made her choice being preggers & all). BUT tumblr says I’m wrong…? My dash keeps saying that

1.) Mulan & Aurora were lovers and Aurora dumped Mulan for Phillip and the hug at the end wasn’t “goodbye because Mulan was going to join Robin’s gang” but “I’m sorry we’re not lovers anymore & that I dumped you for Phillip”.
**OR**

2.) Mulan came back to tell Phillip she was in love with him but wanted to get Aurora’s blessing first before she told Phillip she loved him. (BUT WHY WOULD SHE TELL AURORA THAT HE WASN’T NEEDED THERE IF THAT WERE THE CASE?!?!?!)
…but the internet is becoming ALARMINGLY more stupid with each passing day, so there’s that.

YAY I HOPE MY ~*~PREDICTION~*~ THAT THE BLUE FAIRY IS THE REAL BIG BAD INSTEAD OF RUMPLE/REGINA/PAN COMES TRUE!!!

I just commented on youe LJ about this, lol, but I can KINDA see how you could interpret the scene as Mulan wanting to get Aurora's blessing. I think that's a stretch, tbh, and Occom's Razor being what it is, it was meant to be seen exactly the way you stated it in your first paragraph.

Plus, why would you try to get the blessing of the first woman? It's not like she's going to give it!


P.S. Clearly, the solution to all this is a three-way relationship/marriage, yea verily.

Just make sure he doesn’t forget to send the fairy tale equivalent of child support to me every month! Honestly, that's my solution to 90% of love triangles in media. I'm always like, "the three of you should just get it on, that will make everyone happy!"

P.S. I also wonder if they left the Mulan/Aurora scene purposely ambiguous so they can deny the lesbianism if pressed...

Oh, I'm sure they did. I have no doubt that they'll backpedal. I deleted my Facebook last week but someone was telling me that the show's FB page blew up with people tsk-tsk'ing them for "ruining the show with lesbianism" & now the show needs a higher rating & how they couldn't let their children watch it anymore etc etc etc this-is-why-Republicans-shouldn't-have-the-internet.
