So, now that I depressed you all with the real life, real typhoon post yesterday, here's the lighter fare of some thoughts on Ariel's second appearance on OuaT.


-May I just say, Ariel kicks ASS. Especially when teamed up with Belle! That was amazing, they are amazing, flawless plot.

-Can we have another OuaT spinoff, this one about Ariel's quest to find/win Eric, combined with Badass!Belle running Storybrooke? I would watch the SHIT out of that. Belle would take crap from NO ONE, Ariel would kick ass and take names, it would be the perfect show. And then she would get with Eric and live happily ever after. :D

-I still love Ariel's mermaid clothes.

-Why can mermaids cross worlds? Why does doing so apparently only take like 10 minutes? Because Ariel is awesome. That's pretty much all there is to it.

-"I'm not afraid of you or your gun! And not just because I don't know what it is!" This quote pretty much sums up Ariel and why she's amazing.

-How does Ariel fit in with the other mermaids we saw in Neverland, that's what I want to know.

-She said "look at this stuff!" and I may have died a little from squeeing so hard.


Non Ariel related thoughts:

-Totally knew that was John and Michael, but didn't guess who was in the cage. Thought it was Rufio, since I'd heard he was going to be on the show, or Tink and Pan was really using her against them.

-WTF was Belle wearing? Seriously, WT ever-loving F is this? Like, I know she wasn't expecting to have to save Storybrooke and run all over town, but 1. that skirt is waaaaay too short, 2. would Belle really ever wear a button-up belly shirt, and 3. she couldn't take two minutes to change out of her heels? For that matter, why can Ariel even function in heels, she's barely had legs for a day! *sigh* At least their hair is gorgeous.


Anyway, I still love Ariel. Extremely pleased that OuaT managed not to destroy her character. :D

You know how I’ve been feeling about this show lately…but I freaking LOVED Ariel & Belle!!! Their scenes in the last episode were the best things on the show this season IMO. I would totally be in for a spin-off of them.

Belle’s belly shirt threw me for a loop, ngl. I actually said “BELLE WOULD NEVER” outloud, my mom looked at me like I’d lost my mind. Maybe Belle raided Lacey’s closet LOL. I also had to laugh at how Ariel’s hose never got ripped or anything when she was tied up and took the bracelet off so that her tail would come back & they could get lose…the hose must transform like her legs ;)

Their hair made me think they could play sisters. I can never tell if Belle’s hair is slightly auburn or if it’s brown and the color on my TV is just ‘off’.

(OT: I’m so dumb I got the MH Scaremester dolls yesterday. Keyword ScareMESTER. I think I asked you before what the theme was…all along I thought the line was called ScareMASTER…I was reading the back of their boxes and finally caught on…durr durr durr LOL.)

Yeah, I guess the magic also works on her clothes. I mean, sure, why not? (Also, I'm imagining Ariel being confronted with tights for the first time and like, putting them on her arms or as a bow in her hair. Belle must have told her they go on her legs :D)

OMG, I had forgotten that conversation, but that does make SO much more sense. I can't believe those are out already; I still haven't managed to find a Gigi with straight eyes, and I've never seen the Power Ghouls second set. OY.

I highly agree with their scenes being the best. Everything else is a bore, and I can't wait until they are out of Neverland. It reminds me a lot of DH, where they're on their extended camping trip hunt for the Horcruxes. They just keep wondering around, doing nothing. I'm so over them being on Neverland.

Erm, somewhere between B and D. I mean, Hook is definitely hottest, but Emma is clearly never going to get over Neal so she may as well get with/under him. Plus, I think Hook should be with someone far less whiny.

On the other hand, at this point I hardly care anymore. It has been going on waaaay too long. ;)
