You Know You're Addicted to Harry Potter When... |
You make a wand and try to use it. (Not yet, but I have a virtual wand on Harry Potter. com) You call your least favorite teacher Snape. (Yes, and then some. We have like the whole school categorized) You call your favorite teacher Dumbledore. (Se above) You wear robes to school or work. (No, only Mr. Peterson's son does that.) You make "floo powder", get in the fire, and try to go to your friends' house. (Come on, no one is THAT dumb) You have read all the books more than four times. (Except the fifth one...) You've been to the bookstore at midnight to get the latest Harry Potter book before all your friends. (Nope) ... And then you stayed up all night reading it. (Well, I stayed up all night reading the fourth one...) You've worn a Harry Potter costume in public. (Not yet) You have a crush on one of the Harry Potter characters.(It's more than a crush, Sirius and I are soul mates.) You've gotten at least one of your friends addicted to Harry Potter. (I got Heather L hooked on HP fanfiction, I think that counts enough) You actually caught the "Wand Order" mistake before you heard/read about it. (This one confuses me. What mistake?) You are upset at the New York Times for creating a seperate childrens best seller list because of the Harry Potter books. (Not really, but I could be I suppose.) Using clues in the book, you have attempted to find the exact geographical location of Hogwarts. (Nope. It's in England; that's good enough for me.) You have constructed a timeline of events in the Harry Potter books. (Nope) You have attempted to figure out the exact ages of all the Weasley children (No, but apparantly Kelli has... so I'm guilty by association) You have spent time contemplating which main characters will die by the time the series is over. (Yes I have. I think poor Hagrid is doomed.) You've been to see all the Harry Potter movies on opening night. (Bonus points for standing in line in costume!) (No, sorry, not such a big fan of the INNACURATE LIKE WOAH movies) You've read Harry Potter fanfic. (YES! I have read enough to make a small planet out of.) You've written Harry Potter fanfic. (Why, yes, yes I have written Harry Potter Remus/Sirius slash) You run a Harry Potter fansite. (Only if my LiveJournal counts) You visit The Leaky Cauldron daily. (Ummmm...no) You've met other Harry Potter fans from online in real life.(Sadly no, but I would like to. I've met cool HP fans online...) You've participated in a Harry Potter RPG.(Only if the LiveJournal where Hannah was Remus and I was Sirius counts, which I think it does) You've dreamed about Harry Potter.(Not that I can remember) You have a Harry Potter poster on your wall. (No, but I have HP stickers on my wall) Each Halloween, there's no question what you'll dress up as...! (Oddly enough, no) You've spent time doing a timeline to see if you would have been old enough to date a certain character when you were in high school. (I AM in high school, so no) You've vacationed to London, simply to search for the Leaky Cauldron.(Nope) You own a black lab named Sirius Black.(No, but I wish I did, and I own a black cat named Remy, who is Remus in my heart...) You've knitted a Weasley sweater or Harry Potter scarf. (I don't knit, but if did...) You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends who are addicted to Harry Potter. (Yup) |
