Bravest Student: This is a really unfair question. How can you say that Harry or Hermione or Ron or Luna or Neville or any of the other members of the DA, or students who fought at The Battle of Hogwarts, was more or less brave? And what about students from the past? All of them are brave in their own ways. So, without diminishing any of the other students' acts of bravery, I'm here going to highlight someone who was both brave and unique.

Well, really it's a pair of someones.

As I said, a lot of students were brave in the 'willing to fight Voldemort, stand up for what's right, give our lives for the cause' way, but Fred and George were all that AND brave enough to leave school before finishing it, strike out on their own, and make a career and a name for themselves. They had nothing but some seed gold and their own ingenuity, and it really takes balls to go out into the world with just that. They had no guarantee that their business would be successful, they opened a location in Diagon Alley during a very dangerous time, at which they openly mocked Voldemort, and they somehow convinced Molly not to kill them for leaving Hogwarts early.

Plus, of course, they gave their ear and life for good.

They never hesitated to jump into a fight, they desperately wanted to join the Order, they were always at Harry's side, and never even blinked in the face of danger. You never see a flicker of fear in either of them, and George was even somehow able to go on with his life after the loss of his brother. There's something especially brave in that too.
