As you know, PR is currently in an All Stars season, and wisely brought back my beautiful Belarusian prince, Dmitry. This is 99% of the reason I'm interested.
Last night they did a challenge based on Wicked, with the designers either doing 'good' or 'wicked' looks, and I was totally there for that. Of course, I have some thoughts.
This was a couture challenge, and I'm not going to lie to you, I don't really know what couture means. And yet, I still don't think this is it:
WTF is that? The back is almost interesting, but it's so BORING and ugly and I cannot BELIEVE that Michelle was in top looks for this. Glinda would never.
This was the winning look though, by SonJia, which I definitely think the judges got right:
Beautiful, stunning, and unique. I don't love the hair, but whatever.
Fabio made the same dress Emma Watson wore to the Golden Globes, only not as well done, and yet somehow none of the judges commented on the similarity:
Seriously, EVERYONE was talking about that look, how did no one bring it up?
Chris was (rightly, though sadly) eliminated over this Hot Topic mess:
It looks like an undead salsa dancer Halloween costume, and not in a good way.
Helen fell into the common PR trap of, "I spent so much time on X, so even though it clearly doesn't work I HAVE to use it," with the it in her case being these awful peach ruffles:
And then there was Prince Dmitry:
It's a little bit Black Swan, a little bit evil forest nymph, and a lot awesome. <3 <3 <3 Never change. And call me!
Also, not one designer, out of all 12 of them, did a dress in a color (well, Chris's did have some pink, but not much). They were all black, white, beige, cream, grey, etc. Apparently, good and wicked strictly conform to that basic color palette.
