leia131This was the last week before the finale, so who made it to top three on Face Off?
Yes, you read that right, the final challenge before the finale was to make a traditional Western character into a steampunk cyborg. Why combine those three things? Why not?
None of these looks really blew me away, but I was kind of distracted during this episode (it was right after we got back from seeing Cinderella, and I was obsessively reading trivia about it, lol) so that might be why.
Logan, Barmaid:
I liked his idea for her to have a drink pouring arm more than anything else in this look. The judges loved the intricate filigree on her head piece, but this wasn't their favorite look. The check application also wrinkled weirdly, because it wasn't quite put on properly. Still, Logan was put through to the finale, which I'm fine with. I have no strong feelings about him.
Darla, Blacksmith:
This is not the best thing Darla's ever done, but the judges felt it was inspired of her to put the blacksmith furnace in his chest (and the door really opens) and they loved the transition on his face from human skin to metal jaw. Darla is probably my second favorite (now that Adam is gone) so I'd be all right with it if she won.
And the third spot in the finale goes to... Emily! She actually won this challenge, because she's awesome.
Emily, Undertaker:
Her concept was something about him being poisoned/melding with the undertaking chemicals, and the judges really loved the colors she used on his head to convey that. This is not my favorite look of Emily's, but she is still awesome and I hope she wins!

No clue what that thing on his mouth is supposed to be. Some kind of gas mask maybe?
Julian, Bank Robber:
I can't even remember what the judges said about this, because it's not terrible (certainly not as bad as some of his other work) and I know that they at least liked the head. It doesn't scream 'robber' to me (I actually thought it was supposed to be the sheriff) and the face looks sloppier than everyone else's work. I was over Julian about three weeks ago, so I was not really upset that he won't be competing in the finale.
So there's the final three! Please note that Emily and Darla are both on Queen Laura's team, Logan is Rayce's last team member, and Anthony was knocked out weeks ago. GO TEAM LAURA!
