SNOW DAY!

I love Mother Nature. I love snow days. I need to relax once in a while.

Pop Quiz!

Today I went for a walk in the snow because:
A. I am a crack addict
B. I felt like it
C. I wanted an excuse to make hot chocolate
D. It was beautiful out there and I love snow
E. All of the above, except A because crack is wack

And the answer is E.

I love snow. I went outside and it was silent. Absolutely silent. I might as well have been the only human on the planet. The only other sign of life were some snowed over tire tracks in the road. It was wonderful. It's nice to take a break from the world and people once in a while. I mean, I am a very social person, but I really liked the absolute solitude. Sigh. I had better marry a person who is willing to go for long walks in the snow becasue I think it is very romantic.

And because my father is quite mad, we went out to dinner at Friendly's. In the blizzard. Heh.

I love walking in the snow for that same exact reason. Sigh....the soft flakes, the chill that makes your cheeks red, the bundling up without discomfort, the silence, and the sparkle of the snow just lying there. I took one tonight, as well. I love talking walks in soft snow falls at night. Wonderful. If we ever get married, I promise to take you on long walks in the snow :-)

I did! I did, I...wait. I'm in College. We don't do snowdays. Even when campus loses its power and my professor decides hes going to conduct class in pitch darkness as "a special treat." I kid not.

Snow is so beautiful. Unless it's in your clothing. Then I'm not so fond of it.
