Now, I know you're all dying to know how my overnight at St. Michael's went, but really it wasn't all that exciting or interesting for the most part. There was a lot of sitting around and watching other kids mingle, and feeling like a leper, and also a lot of ice cream. Phish Food. It was very good.
But my host girl was TEH COOLEST. Her name was Shaleen Crowley. CROWLEY! I died. She and I both had pink Converse shoes, and she told EVERYBODY!
She also is a HUGE Harry Potter fan, a Red Sox fan, Irish, bowls, is addicted to her computer, actually studies for tests, likes Natalie Portman, doesn't do drugs, and protected me from the drunk boys. So we had a lot in common and a lot to talk about.
Which brings me to the fact that almost the entire student body of St. Michael's drinks heavily.
I am slightly put off by this.
They are also very loud, and as a result I am very tired.
And we're going to Burlington tomorrow. Yippiee! I am excited. Expect the enthralling update tomorrow.

Dartmouth is the same way, and I was really worried about it at first. The key is to find a group of people who share similar interests. Most of the people on my freshmen floor either didn't drink at all, or only drank a little, and so on the weekends we'd all hang out and watch movies or play games, while the rest of the campus was out doing...whatever.
Ahh
