Regionals!

Well I spent all day at Regionals yesterday, and boy do I have some things to tell you!

I met teh coolest girl, and her name is Acacia. Which is pronounced A-KAY-SHA. It's the best name I've heard since Janeea, and the coolest festival friend since Fahn. Yea!

And, for the record, THE RAPE SCENE IS FUNNY! They laughed. In fact they laughed a great deal. So there.

And there was a character who thought he was Elvis. Rosenberg anyone?

Then I went to a "Color Workshop"...where we finger painted! Not pictures eather, just used color to represent emotions. It was the most liberating experience of my life. I highly recommend that the next time you feel especially angry or sad, just finger paint. Throw all regard for shapes and form out the window, and be sure to use all parts of your hand. It's amazing.

Then we weren't allowed to watch this one play (DO NOT ASK) so we sat in our room and I read Greek myths and other stories to Renee, Dustin, Karla, and Kelli. It was kinda nice.

What is the past tense of swing dancing? Swung dancing? Swing danced?

I have never wanted to be a gay man as much as I did yesterday. There were, two, count them two, incredibly attractive boys, either of which could have easily been Sirius when he was in school, both with longish black hair and blue eyes and muscles, both unbelieveably gay. Goddamn it. It is at this point in my life that I realize the real reason people dislike homosexuals. It's because they're gorgeous, and we straight people can't have them.

The most hysterical play, which incidentally gets to go onto States, was 15 Reasons Not To Be In A Play

Reason number one: PLAYS SUCK! (Soooooooooo not making that up.)

From the play High Stakes:

Mindy, I want to peel you like a cucumber! (Which line, I may add, was spoken by one of the hot Sirius boys. He can peel my cucumber any day.)

Anna: What do women want most? TO BE PEELED LIKE CUCUMBERS!

Oh, yes, and the theme was broadway. Our room was Chicago, but one of the rooms was Hair! It was nice.

Today I love decorating my house.

Today I hate Murphy, because she keeps meowing because we won't let her out, and it's driving me crazy!

Ryan Reeves (the cucumber boy) was pretty cute. I got to paint with him in the morning and he was talking in a fake British accent...haha, who does that sound like. The other guy's name was Russell Appelton...I believe. If you are talking about the "Make-up" guy from "15 Reasons Not To Do A Play" then yes.

Nevertheless, they were both good-looking. I wish I had gotten contact info.

And there are lots of straight men who are just as good-looking as us...we're just more friendly.

Wow I am dumb. I didn't even realize the quote was from Dogma...But then again I've only seen that movie once. I just liked the slashy implications because Sam wants Frodo hardcore. I know he does, and it was the only slashy icon of them I could find.

Well that just makes it even better then!
