This is both a heads-up, and a plea.

I have to work 8:00-4:30 Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Deathly Hallows comes out Saturday.

What that translates into is that I will not be available this weekend. Like, at all. That schedule is long and tiring, and I need to be up early, so I'm not really going to want to go out late at night. Just so all my RL friends know.  :)

Also, this is severly cutting into my time available to read DH. Even though I plan to come home from work and read it, I doubt I'll finish it before Monday. Therefore, I would appreciate it if anyone who finishes the book before me doesn't spoil me. Please. Pretty, pretty please. I'm begging here.

That being said, I have Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday off, and if I haven't finished DH by Sunday night, I'll do it then. Then I can go out again, and discuss the Potterocalypse with anyone and everyone who wants to.

It's almost over people. GAH!
And now, some stuff from work:

I work with a girl named Sarah who's an X-Ray tech. That means that she runs X-Ray machines and develops the films and such. She went to college for, and has a degree in, teaching high school French. Nice.

Also, Paul (another tech) said tonight: "That scapula is so lateral, I oughtta get a bonus." I have no idea what that means, but it made me laugh. I think I'm going to start saying it when I do something awesome.
You know, some people drive along and blast rock and roll or punk rock as loud as they can, and head-bang to it.

I drive along blasting "Henry Ford" from Ragtime, and dance/act it out.

Also, the baby finches have left the nest. *tear*

And, I had day one of my orientation today (which is supremely ironic cause I started work two weeks ago) and there's lots I want to say about it. But I think I'll wait till after I get through day two tomorrow.

First of all, welcome to anyone who friended me as a result of the friending meme. Hi!

Anyways, I now have a pool and a job. Let summer commence!

I got a job working as a transporter for the X-Ray department at the hospital. I start orientation June 25. I'm kind of nervous, having to move people and all, but I think it'll be ok. It pays well. :) So if you want to hang out, now would be better than after I start working.

Our pool is currently still green, because we got our water from a river, but give it a couple days and a shit-ton of chemicals and that'll be fixed. So anyone who wants to go swimming (especially if you helped us put it up, JANEEA) is welcome to.

Besides that...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BECKY!!!
