I sat down with JvL and the cast of Commedia last night to watch Army of Darkness.

I don't think I've ever seen anything that was simultaneously as bad, disturbing, and hilarious.

Ever.

Has anyone else seen this movie? It's... Well, I'm not sure there's a word for it.

And I don't know how Bruce Campbell says those lines with a straight face.

Only, he played the prince of thieves guy on Hercules and Xena, so I suppose he has practice.

I don't really do horror movies, and this one freaked me out enough, thank you. But I was made aware that there were movies before it.

did you see the director's cut or the original? (Director's cut-Ash ends up at the end of the world, he missed armageddon. Original-Ash is back in the store and shoots a she bitch deadite.)

Well, we started out watching the normal one, and then the DVD died, so we had to watch the director's cut, but then we put the normal one back in and watched the "hail to the king" ending, but then JvL was telling us about the other ending and we wanted to see it, so we watched that one too.

So I saw both. Ha!

It is, truly, the most famous HORRID movie of all time. I have an absolute fondness for the "Klatu! Verata!! .....N*cough*"

My favorite part of the damn movie. The rest I find disturbing.

MUAH!

There was "Groovy," and then there was one other line that I absolutely loved, but I can't remember what it was now. Although "Good, bad, I'm the one with the gun." Was pretty good.

*hearts*
