Ok. I had this dream last night, and it's sort of bothering me, so I'm going to write it down and maybe that'll help. I don't usually remember this much of my dreams, but this one's sticking with me for some reason.




A lot of my dreams start out as a movie I'm watching on TV, like I react to things that're happening on the screen, and I'm watching it with people, and then at some point, completely naturally, I'm in the movie. But it's not like I got sucked into it or anything, I'm just in it and I always have been.

Anyways, in the dream my mom and I were watching this movie on TV, and it started out being about this guy who was swimming in the ocean (I think his ship had crashed or something) and it was in the midst of this huge storm, and he washes up on this island.

Well there's this huge house on the island, and the only way into it is to raise the water level so you can reach this big ass tree, and then you climb in through the window. (Don't even ask. This is not even the beginning of the weird things that you're about to read.) So the people that live in the house control the water level, like they have the lever or whatever, and they call down to the guy that they're going to bring him in, and they flood the beach and he climbs in through the window... and the whole house is filled with these gorgeous super models. It's like a secret super model house. They're all living on this island for some reason. Yeah. So he's happy with that, and they put him in bed cause he's almost dead from being in the ocean and all.

Then the movie cuts to these three guys walking through the woods on the same island. (I think they were like, guards for the models or something...) They have a purpose in the woods, but I don't know what it is. And they come across this dead bloody pig that's strung up by its back legs, and then something crashes out of the woods at them, and I look away from the TV because I somehow know that whatever happens at this point in the movie is bad and bloody and I tell my mom that I don't want to see it. And I think one of the three guys makes it back alive, but the other two get killed or eaten or whatever.

(At this point I think something else happens, but I can't remember, so we'll cut to what I do remember.)

From here on, I'm in the movie.

The next scene is my mother, and Eric, and I, and I think Nora Q. for some reason, and we're in a hotel on this freaky island. (Which may or may not be the same as the island with the models) I don't' know why we're there, but because of the pig incident, we know that Bad Shit is Going Down. And there's this big festival thing that happens on the island every year, and it's happening today, and somehow we know that it's going to involve killing people, and we don't want to be around for it, but there's these two people in charge, a man and a woman, and they want us to stay for it. And we can't get off the island because we don't have a boat or a plane or anything, but my mom has a plan. (I don't know what that plan is, but she has one.)

Now, the man and the woman don't have names, but their characters come up again, so I'm going to refer to them as The Man and The Woman, and you'll know that they're the ones in charge/who own the island.

So I'm in the bathroom in our hotel for some reason, and I look out the window, and I see these two or three guys who have wings, but they can't fly unless they grab hold of these big eagles. (But the wings help them glide with the eagles or something.) And as I watch, they grab onto the eagles, and they fly up to the top of this really tall palm tree, and I know that they're setting something up for the festival, and then suddenly they're in claymation. No joke. And I know, somehow, that the people making the movie didn't have enough money to finish it with real people, so they finished it with claymation. Because I still know that all this is a movie, even though it's also really happening.

So the deal with the winged guys is that they're doing something Bad, on orders from The Woman, but I'm the only one who can see them doing it for some reason. And it involves this giant evil blue rabbit that they hang upside down from the really tall palm tree, or maybe it's already hanging there and now I can see it, I don't know, but in any case it's hanging there and I'm the only one who knows. And their job right now is to cut its head off, which they do. But this doesn't kill it. Like, cutting its head off is part of the big festival, and it just really pisses the big blue rabbit off. (I think it eats/kills one of the winged guys.) And all this is somehow connected to the scene with the three guys in the woods and the pig, from before, (the rabbit is hung in the same position as the pig was) because the giant rabbit was the thing that came crashing out towards them in that scene, and killed them, and I think the pig was a sacrifice for the rabbit, I'm not sure, but the bottom line is that the rabbit is big and bad and headless, and it is part of this huge festival that's going on, and it is going to kill a lot of people, and I'm the only one who knows this (besides the bad guys, obviously) and We Need to Leave Now.

And then, I don't know how I know this either, somehow from watching these guys in the palm tree with the rabbit I have become privy to this knowledge, but I know that all the models in the model house (remember the house full of super models?) are all going to be put through this giant meat grinder and turned into food and fed to the people at the festival. (I think they may have put the rabbit's head through the meat grinder and that was a clue... That part's kind of fuzzy.) The moral anyways is that I know that the models are going to be ground up, but no one else does, and I know this because I saw these guys in the palm tree. And this is all still in claymation.

So I tell my mom and Eric and Nora, and we all jump in a clay truck, even though I think we were still real people, and then there's this big chase scene where we try to get out of town/off the island, but we can't.

(From here on in, we're back to live action, with no explanation this time, it's almost like we're not in a movie anymore, but in any case there's no more clay.)

Then the dream cuts to me, and I'm all alone, no sign of mom or Nora or Eric, and I'm in the model house, and I've told them that they're all going to be meat ground, and have in fact shown them the giant grinder. And it is a HUGE grinder, hidden in the back room. (And when I see it, I think how much this whole situation reminds me of Sweeney Todd, only not as cool because it's real.)

But it's really bad now, because for some reason I'm one of the models, and I always have been, and so I'm in danger too.

And then there's a back-story, which I somehow know all of a sudden, and that is that we're all at a "special model school", only it's really just a ploy they use to lure girls here every year, and then have this big festival that somehow involves the giant blue rabbit, and we're supposed to perform a play and then we die at the end, and they feed us to the guests, but no one knows this except The Woman and The Man. (And now me.) Like, there are thousands of people coming to the festival, who are going to eat us, but they don't know it. Like, every year all these people come, and they have this festival, and I know that if they find out that they've been eating other people all these years, they'll revolt or help us or kill The Man and The Woman, or something. In any case, the only way to save ourselves is to find a way to tell the masses what's going on with out letting The Woman know that we know. (Because she's in charge of the grinding-up-the-models side of things. I don't know what The Man does.)

So what do we do? Well brilliant me decides that we'll tell the story of what's going on in the play we're supposed to do, and in the end we'll bring out the giant meat grinder as proof, and all the people will know and we'll be saved. And I know that if we do it in the play, The Woman won't know what we're doing and it will absolutely work. So we rehearse the play, and it's different than what we were doing before, and I'm directing it, and we keep The Woman away, and it all seems to be going well.

Then the next scene is me, and I'm on a ferry to the model house, (why we're out of it I don't know) cause you have to get there by water, remember? And it's the night where we're going to perform the play and either die or not, and we, the models, have been told we can each bring two guests, so the ferry is packed with all the models and their guests. And I invited my parents, because for some reason they have to be there for the plan to work, but they're not on the ferry, and we leave, and I'm all alone and I'm terrified, and I keep hoping that they'll find a way into the house because I don't want to die. (This part of the dream is the scariest. I can very vividly remember the feeling of being alone and helpless and so fucking terrified... It upsets me.)

And then, for no reason AT ALL the final scene in the dream is me and Eric in my dad's truck, and Dad is driving us up to The Woman's house, and he has to leave and we have to do something to stop her, Eric and I, but I don't know what. And I have this sense that time is running out, and we're trying to stop the festival, and we're back on the part of the island with the hotel (I know, because I can see the giant rabbit dangling from the palm tree) and it's getting dark like there's going to be a hurricane, and dad drives on the dock to get us to The Woman's house, and everyone's staring at us for driving on the dock, and then... that's it.

That's the end. I have no idea what happens, like if the models get eaten, or if we stop The Woman, or if we ever get off the island, or if the festival goes on, or what happens with the giant blue rabbit, or what ever happened to Nora, or what the guy who was swimming in the beginning had to do with anything, because I never saw him again, and it's all very unsettling. Mostly because it felt so REAL.



Isn't that the most wacked out thing you've ever heard? It's still kind of creeping me out, but I can't help thinking at the same time that if I edited it together so that it made sense it would be a truly kick-ass story. Of course then I'd have to come up with a good ending...any suggestions?

This must be the week for weird dreams. I had a strange one (not quite as strange as yours, though) the night before last.

No thoughts on an ending for yours, but I do wonder what happens next!

i read an article about dreams awhile ago, like how stuff works dot com or a sight light that,so maybe if u go to that website u can find some usfull info

now i think anybody analyzeing the dream would probably say well you have a a fear of being alone, like most ppl, and that u don't really want to see guersome things (the pig and u turning away)

the blue rabbit could be intereppted as something looming over your head, like and anxiety or something, i say this only bacause the blue thing keeps reappearing in your dream, usually anxiety things will keep coming up in dreams

now, the house with the models, could mean something you want to achieve or something your afriad of looseing or it could be a mixture of both
its something u want or at least what someone wants because the man in the beginning of your dream wants to get to the house
also u want to keep the house or whatever the house represents, because u work so hard to keep the models from being eaten

the man and the woman (mostly the woman) represents something or someone

okay now if u believe in dream interpertation then these are just my random interepertations of your dream using the feelings you describe in conjuncture with the things u describe

if u don't believe in dream interepertation then just ignore all my previous statements

anyway i don't know if this helps, deffiantly read that article on how stuff works dot com for more insight
