I just... can't bring myself to be bitter about Valentine's Day. I couldn't last year either. I just like candy and hearts and valentines (mine have Ariel on them this year) too much to be bitter that I'm single.

And I bought myself a heart shaped balloon that says "love" on it at Shaw's the other day, and it makes me insanely happy. Cause I like balloons. It's my Valentine's Day gift from me to me.

Anyways. I saw this on Nessa's journal, and for some reason I suddenly feel like filling it out, so here goes.

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, here's a survey to do.

Sure.

[03] What is your all-time favorite romance movie?
Benny and Joon. Sam and Joon are just sooooooo adorable.

[04] How many times have you honestly been in love?
Shit. Uh... I'm going to go with two, but you'll have to define "honestly" before we go into more detail here. 

[05] Do you believe that everyone has a soul-mate?
I think I used to, but I don't know anymore. (That sounds depressing and jaded, but it's not meant to be.)

[06] Do you think that you should put your friends first?
Yes. Your friends don't break up with you. Chicks before dicks, and all that.

[07] Have you ever had your heart broken?
Yes, but only once.

[08] What do you think about long-distance relationships?
If you can handle it, go for it, I've never had one myself, so I'm not the best person to ask this of.

[09] Your thoughts on online relationships?
They seem sketchy to me, but sometimes the work out, so once again, if you can handle it then go for it.

[10] Would you rather date someone five years older or five years younger?
Definately older. (Not least of all because someone five years younger than me would only be 14. Eww.)

Hell yes. That's usually my probelm with the people I like, in fact,

I don't fucking know. What does that have to do with Valentine's Day?

Right now, none, unless you count wanting to adopt a couple. I have no desire to "have" any.

No.

[15] What is your favorite color?
Red, and all shades thereof, including pink.

[16] What are your views on gay marriages?
Go for it, and STFU government. Marriage is about love and commitment and two consenting people, and all this bullshit about it being a sacred thing between a man and a woman is just that: bullshit.

[17] Imagine you're 79 & your spouse just died, would you re-marry?
Ummm... I don't think so. Can you see a 79 year old woman in a bar? No, me neither.

[18] At what age did you start noticing the opposite sex?
It would be easier to ask at what age I started noticing that I was in fact attracted to both sexes. Because that was around 16.

[19] What song do you want to hear at your wedding?
Ask me that again in 5 or 6 years, because I have no idea right now.

[20] Do you think that someone likes you?
God I hope so.
