We just got back from the movies...
Ok, so, initially I was afraid to see IM3, because the trailers made it seem like it was going to be in a very dark place, and I was afraid that people would die and sadness would happen and I would FREAK OUT. Or, even if there was no death, it would still just be too intense for me.
I am here now to say that it was AMAZING, seriously, and it wasn't nearly as dark as the trailers made it seem. No one died (well, not really) and I am completely satisfied. Well, except that I want to see it again as soon as possible.
The three things I liked the most, because if I don't pick a few to focus on we'll be here all night:
1. Pepper was the hero, again, just as she totally saved the day in Iron Man One. Pepper Potts has now taken out two super villains. Just saying. Actually, Pepper was incredible throughout the whole movie, as usual.
2. Tony spent 90% of the movie outside of the suit, and yet was still totally kick-ass and amazing. It was really nice to get to see so much more of Tony, especially because RDJ is the best.
3. My favorite thing about super hero movies is when the normal everyday people do super things. This movie was full of that, from Happy investigating the shady guys, to the people from the plane going along with Tony's plan, to Gary in the TV van, and the mother in the bar who hid the file. And yes, the little kid too, though that was a little more obvious. I didn't think he was annoying though, I thought they used him just right amount.
In conclusion, go see Iron Man Three if you haven't already. And if you have, let's talk about it!
Answer to last Tuesday's song: Marry the Night by Lady Gaga. No one guessed this.
