Things I've learned from/because of the Olympics, Part 3:

-There's more than one kind of snowboard. Like, they use different ones for the halfpipe, the slopestyle, and the downhill race thing. Who knew?

-Curling originated in Scotland (thanks to Caroline on Facebook for filling me in, and then they showed a History of Curling thing on TV like, three hours later.) The Scots were probably drunk at the time, but I have no proof of this.

-Yuzuru Hanyu won his gold medal in an outfit designed by Johnny Weir. :D

The whole time Hanyu was skating, I kept saying to my mom "THAT LOOKS A LOT LIKE AN OUTFIT JOHNNY WEIR WORE ONCE". And lo & behold, he designed it.

The green outfit Johnny wore while commetating on ice dancing short program is my new fave :)

Sadly, I was not really into figure skating until this year (I mean, I've always liked to watch it, but now I feel like I actually know something about it) so I wasn't sure if Johnny was joking or not when he said he designed that outfit. He was not.

I laughed when the guy from the other studio called him a Leprechaun.

I Could Have Danced All Night. And I prefer to say Julie Andrews. Because I don't know who sang for Audrey, but it wasn't Audrey and that kills me.

I have seen almost nothing of the Olympics except the US women's hockey team CHOKING IN THE LAST 3 MINUTES! JESUS! But, yeah, that's all.

That's the right song! It was what Charlie and Meryl skated their short dance program to, and they TOTALLY used the Julie Andrews version. Which is why they won, obviously.
