Day 24: Photo - I am thankful for all the photos I have of people who are no longer with us, and all the ones I have of places I've been (China, Scotland, etc.) that I may never get to go again.
I AM HOME!

We pulled into the garage at EXACTLY 4:00 am.

And since I slept most of the way home, I am not tired. At all.

Thus I am here, reading and writing livejournals.

So look for comments from me on some of your older entries, because I caught up on my whole friends list. Go me!

I promise to bore you all with the details of my vacation later today...

But now I must at least pretend to sleep.

But I will leave you all with this: Once you've squatted over a black and reeking fly-infested hole in China, there's not much American gas station bathrooms can do to scare you.

Goodnight! Er...Morning!

10 things I've done that you probably haven't:

1. Howled at the moon IN BOSTON on a crowded street.

2. Gotten a $100,000 scholarship (over 4 years) to my first choice college.

3. Spent 6 hours in the Chicago train station. (Ok, some of you have done this too...)

4. Memorized Casey at the Bat and The Walrus and the Carpenter for no reason at all.

5. Dated a boy who is now openly gay (I love you Chrissy...)

6. Illustrated lyrics from Phantom of the Opera as stickfigures.

7. Seen The Little Mermaid enough times to be able to recite it.

8. Been second in your class. (Curse you Amanda Dagg! j/k)

9. Been to China with a bunch of people I didn't know and...

10. Walked on the Great Wall of China! (I gotcha ALL on this one)

The first person to ask me if I walked the whole Wall of China gets a smack next time I see them...

Hi everyone! I am home from my two weeks in China and full of exciting stories. But if you want to hear them you must call or IM me because I'm not going to put them here. But for my own sanity:

Mike and his back flip and his broken shoe.

Brianna asked the guys from Illinois three times about their next flight.

Ben, Bijoy, and Lucas.

Craig.

Ben praying during the extreme turbulence, which was both comforting and disturbing.

Mack: getting lost, deep conversations, 12 siblings, Mormon, avoidance, views on homosexuals, reciting his creed.

Chris and the tar critter, log, and bridge.

I think you poisoned me. Why?
Why do you think?
I think it's because I'm a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical, cheating, bigot.
Right.

Oh, and also it's ten after Noon in China.
