HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESS!!!

And a happy July to everyone else. I've always liked July. I can't imagine why that could be...

P.S. I miss Andrew.
Saw Lady in the Water with Sarah last night, after we went to see the Summer Encore production of I Believe in Make-Believe.

The play was hysterical and very well done, and it was a musical put together in three weeks, so that's saying something. I love all those little Summer Encore kids.

Oh, but there was this one guy Nick, who I thought was Bart when I saw him, cause he moves like Bart, my God, if he was any gayer he'd go BOOM.

But they all worked so well together as a cast, and it was so funny, and I got pulled up on-stage to be an elf, and that was interesting. I loved it.

Then I spent the night over at Jess' house. I always feel so good when I go over there because the whole Snide family loves me. YAY! I heart Jess. Really. We talked till like 4am, and I can tell her things that I can't tell anyone else. (Especially about fanfiction.) God I love that girl. I'm always so honest with her, and it's not hard and it's not awkward, and it's just good.

And as for Lady in the Water that was FUCKING AMAZING. Oh my GOD. Sarah and I were so into it, because we are just that cool. I really like M. Night Shamalan's stuff. (What does the M stand for anyways?) Like, I really liked The Village, even though the rest of the world didn't. It was entertaining to me, and that's all a movie really needs to be. (However, it also had such pretty shots and such architypes, and I really FELT for the characters. But I digress.)

But this one was so nice. It was just like a fairy tale, where everyone just believes in the magic and the weirdness, and they don't really question it and the elders are the wise ones and peace and justice win out in the end. And it was only a little scary, not at all like the ads make it seem. Stupid fucking ads.

Anyways, I had parts of it figured out, and thus I am awesome.

Oh, but what I liked a lot about it too was how they were almost, by not quite, acknowledging that they were in a movie. Like they talked about things that happen in movies and which characters do what and stuff like that. I love that.

GAH, it was so good. Just, if you don't analyze it too much or really THINK about it, the message will sink in and you'll just KNOW what he was trying to say, and I like that.

And he has some truly beautiful shots. The things that man does with camera angles and colors... He makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Final thought: Planters, (you know, the peanut people) is 100 years old. And their slogan for this is "Celebrating 100 years of fresh taste." I really think it should be "Celebrating 100 years of nuts." Cause that works on like three different levels.
God, I'm such a sap. I've seen that movie like 500 times, and I still love it.

So Renee and I had a wonderful lunch at Applebee's today. We saw Kelli and Jim, Jess and Justin, and like the entire Peterson clan. Aren't there any other restaurants in Rutland?

Anywho, I love Matt because I can now listen to Honky Tonk Badonadonk over and over and over again. HA!

But the real purpose of this entry is to tell whoever wants to come that we're going to see X-3 tomorrow night. I don't know what time it's playing yet or what time we're meeting, but I will find out as soon as I can and post a final schedule. It'll be the earlier showing, and we'll probably meet like half an hour before it starts because it's a Friday, and opening night. Just you can all plan.

Peace!

P.S. Oh, and I added some pretty stuff to my user info too.
I love you Jessica Lynn Marie Snide.
I love the world.

Voices Project was fucking AMAZING!

Had Hannah L., Erin, and Jess over for hot-tubbing and Stuart Townsend watching. And eating. Don't forget the eating.

Me: I was sad because you were all at Denny's and I was at college.
Erin: You can't get a good education at Denny's.

Stuart Townsend: *Is hot*
Jess, Hannah, and Me: Ohhh ahhh *drool* *fangirl*
Stuart Townsend: *Bleeds*
Jess and Me: Ack! Teh hot!
Erin: I need to go change my pants.

Anna: *Sits in booth at Denny's. Calls home* Hey Mom? Can I go to Denny's?

And there was much other hilarity, but that's enough for one night.

P.S. It's really weird typing on a real keyboard and using a mouse. Like, obscenely weird.
OMFG!

IF YOU HAVE EVER SEEN THE MOVIE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA YOU NEED TO READ THIS RIGHT NOW!

(Especially if you are Jess or Becky, who will totally appreciate how we pointed out most of the things they make fun of. Or if you like to snark.)

IT IS THE FUNNIEST THING I HAVE EVER READ. I LAUGHED SO HARD I CRIED.

READ IT!

Had an abosutely freaking amazing past two days with Erin and Jess. God but I missed those girls. Fanfic quotes, livejournal icons, movies, hot guys, snark, cuddling, shopping, music, hot tubbing, the list goes on and on. Then Erin graffitied my yearbook. *Heart*

And we played MASH online. Wow we're sad. But it was fun. Here look:

Me:
You will live in a Mansion.
You will drive a Red BMW.
You will marry Paul and have 7215222222222222 kids.
You will be a Prostitute in Rutland.

Jess:
You will live in a Shack.
You will drive a Silver BMW Z3.
You will marry Mclaren and have 2 kids.
You will be a Crack Dealer in Sing Sing.

Erin:
You will live in a Shack.
You will drive a Tomato red with cucumbers 67 Mustang.
You will marry Brook and have 345 kids.
You will be a Actress in Greenland.

Ahhhhh that was fun.

I am so nervous about college. I both want to go and get it done with and never want to leave at the same time. I DON'T WANNA GROW UP!

But I promise you all that I will keep updating here, so you can know what wonders I am experiencing at St. Mikes. And I will keep reading and commenting on your journals, so I know what you are all up to without me. Most of you are still my little children, no matter where I am, and the rest of you are part of my real family or my Encore family or both, so you are therefore stuck with me. HA!

I LOVE YOU ALL.

Erin wrote this and I love it: Optomism is not immaturity.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESS!
I am no longer in high school. Yay?

I promise to still be the Encore Mother though. I'll just be an absent parent, k? I still love you all like you're my children.

Graduation was hot, Project Grad was kind of boring, but the hypnotist was freaking hysterical. I have pictures of people doing stupid things. Heh. And we went swimming and Hannah and Ryan had a noodle fight. Sillies.

Then I came home at 5am and took a picture of 5am. Just so I'll always remember it.

I like Jim because he makes Kelli happy.

The 20th Reunion went swimmingly. We had plenty of food and people came and the plays....Oh the plays...Chris and Pat and Jess and Erin were soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!! Thank you guys. They remembered to do everything I had told them to. Then Ari. Ari was absolutely amazing and wonderful and I miss her already. GOODBYE ARI! I HEART YOU! SEND ME LETTERS!

Confessions still sucks, but the actors in it did a good job. The whole time I was trying not to laugh because all I could think watching it was "I'M PAUL AND I'M ANGRY!!!" (How, exactly, does a man with no legs beat his wife? She could just like take a step away from him and he wouldn't be able to reach her. Does he run her over with his wheelchair?)

And Ten To Go was the funniest thing ever.

So...Yeah. The world is good. And I like it.

Emalee, you know I was only kidding whenI called you a drug addict sex fiend, right?

Midsummer Cast Party was last night at Aaron's house. It was a blast! Lots of good food and most of Encore and tents...What more could a girl ask for? I almost started crying because I won't be here for these things next year, and I'm going to miss this family more than my actual family...But that's enough sad things.

We had the best time in my tent! Kelli, Erin, Hannah, Jess, Pat and I were in there. Pat is freaking hilarious. He told us ghost stories, and he has the scariest voice! Eek! Then we told jokes.

Me: You know Monca Lewinski?
Pat: Isn't she a figure skater?

And he's also very sweet.

Pat: Does everyone have all their blankets and pillows and such? Is everyone all set?
Us: Yes...Why do you ask?
Pat: It's the man thing to do. To take care of everyone.
Erin: Well, I could use another blanket. You wanna go get me one?
Pat: No.
Kelli: That's the Pat thing to do.

And we were cold so Erin and Jess made Pat the furnace sleep between them, and I was on the other side of Jess, and the four of us occupied a space less than half the tent. It was really funny. Jess is a sweet cuddler. Pat pretended like he was only cuddling with us because we asked him to, but really, he liked it.

And then we Jihaded him to wake him up this morning.

You know what's a fun word? Fucktard.

Erin stepped on Snizz. Poor kitty.

Vanessa rocks hardcore with knobs. Don't argue. She does.

I HATE DRAMA! (And yes, I admit it, I participated, but I still hate it. ARGH!!!)

Lastly, here's a big thank you to all you who read my story...THANK YOU I LOVE YOU! And if you haven't read it yet, you suck. Go back to my last post and unsuckify yourself.

NO APOLOGIES!

Rebels With A Cause Update: Watched Napolean Dynamite today. Was better than expected. But then it couldn't really have been below my expectations, which were practically nonexistant. *Pulls up in awesome car, shakes head slowly* Ha ha ha.

Mr. Peterson: Today is casual Friday...which means I'm wearing my boxers instead of my thong...(Yet another visual image I could do without)

Mr. P: I relate most to Ben, but then again I haven't had sex with an older woman and then fallen in love with her daughter...
Colin: There's still time.

Students on Stage Update: My cast is awesome. I had a concern that Pat might not be able to be evil, but he is. Oh yes, he is. And Chris, is basically playing a more talkative version of himself, and so he is therefore PERFECT, and Vanessa, who I dearly hope to keep, was fantastic, because she is also kind of playing herself.

Why might I lose her, you ask? Well, Jess CANNOT be in the play she's in, and if they keep doing it I'll have to trade Vanessa for Jess. Not that I don't love Jess, but I cast Vanessa for a reason, and I'm also concerned that Jess and Chris won't have the same wonderful dynamic that Vanessa and Chris have...But you all don't really care about this do you?

So then Me, Anna, Hannah L, Kelli, Vanessa, and Erin redid the Encore board, and it looks fantastic! Thanks guys!

And after that excitment, Erin, Hannah L, and I went to see Revenge of the Sith, which was an adventure because neither of them had very much knowledge of Star Wars, and Heather and Emalee were there. Heather and Erin had a contest to see who could break more of my fingers, but I didn't mind. I love you both.

Final thought: THE SLASH WRITES ITSELF!!!

YAYS!

May. 7th, 2005 12:28 pm

OMFG Jess and I went to the mall last night to go Mother's Day shopping, and then she came over and spent the night and we watched my newly acquired Phantom of the Opera DVD and it was good. My God that girl has a lot of energy.

And The Phantom was as good and as sexy as ever, and I totally got Jess on my side. She thinks the Phantom is hot and Raoul is a loser. Yay Jess!

And not much else is up, besides that I HAD MY LAST PHYSICS CLASS!!! Yays again.

And and and ummm Oh yeah, we learned that Lindsay Dick's mother's maiden name was Devine. That means she's Devine Dick. Oh how my Spanish class laughed.

Today I love Madame Giry

Today I hate the bitchy ladies in JC Penny's

Three random things that I found enormously amusing.

1. Mr. Whitman: (Waving his baton) See this? It only waves around in the air! I can't fix instruments in a single day; you all think it does magic but it doesn't! (This is funny because I immideately conjured an image of Whitman in a pointy hat and wizard robes, waving his baton madly and speaking Latin...See what Harry Potter has done to me?)

2.Aaron has a little squishy figure of Bush, for the purpose of smushing. Dustin: He's been Bushwhacked. (Who loves bad puns? I do.) (Also, life is so much happier when you give up trying to hate Dustin and just laugh at him.)

3. Jess: Long, long ago, in good King Arthur's day, Mrs. Archer had control of Encore. (Isn't that the truth....She's that old and it's been at leats that long since she was in control.)

Today I love rehersal. It just makes me happy.

Today I hate calc tests. They just makes me stressed.

GMTI Carnival totally rocked! I am almost 18 years old and I have never been to that carnival before. And to quote Squidward "All the wasted years!" It was fun, and I wish I had gone when I was little. But, no use lamenting the past, so let's celebrate what happened today that was funny, shall we? (As if you have a chioce...mwahahahahaha!)

During set up, Jess and I were innocently trying to move soda from the boys dressing room to the selling table, and we opened a locker full of Diet Coke. This went ok. I then removed some of the Diet Cokes to bring them out to the table. This was not ok. One can fell from the locker and exploded on the ground. It spun around spurting soda EVERYWHERE, including on the floor, the lockers, the coffee pots, Jess, and me. It was exciting/terrifting. There was screaming. I've never seen soda explode before. I don't really want to be covered in it ever again.

Then Dustin and I were fake arguing, and someone goes "Fight!" so I went like I was gonna hit him and instead I threw my arms around him and gave him this huge hug. Chris goes "What kind of fighting is that?" and I flashed him the peace sign and said "Make love not war." Then Erin goes "I wanna fight!" and hugged me. It was good.

I made the decision to tell Renee I had the Once on this Island Soundtrack with me, in order to temporarily save all our ears from Chris's god-awful Spanish Techno music (Yes you read that right), and she put it on and then she and Bart proceeded to do all the dance moves to We Dance. A customer looked at them very strangely. Customer: *wha?* Me: It's lunch and a show!

Then Bart went to sit on top of the huge cooler, and the lid wasn't really on tight, and it slid back, and he very nearly fell into the mostly melted but still very cold ice. He made the most hysterical face, and some little kids laughed at him.

During clean up, there was this random trash can we had to put away.

Me: (Looking at trash can) Where did this come from?

Erin: Well, when a mommy trash can and a daddy trash can love each other very much...

In other totally unrelated news, as of today I officially love the song Fields of Gold on my A Live cd. OMG SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! If that guy who sings it was like "Hey have my geeky but still hot and talented babies" I'd be like "Sure, but you have to promise to sing to me before, after, and possibly during sex, and definately during my pregnancy." (If you saw him sing at school Friday, you totally know what I mean)

Today I love Jess and Erin

Today I hate people who try to order food by pointing, without ending their cell phone conversations, and then looking irritated when you tell them the price is more than they have given you. *Cough*WHITNEY MC NEIL* Cough*

I have three main things to say.

1. The UMaine concert today was FUCKING AMAZING! It started off kinda boring and slow, but it really picked up once they started singing in English. And they pulled Eliza and Nathaniel up on stage and totally embarrassed the hell out of them, and the girls sang I Need A Hero which rocks sooooo hardcore. And I discovered that Kathryn is dating Aram because she has a thing for male acapella singers. Ha. And she "had a heartattack and a hemmorage at the same time" when they sang. Oh I love Kathryn. And then I bought the male acapella group's cd because I love them. I want one. And I got to see Jackie and John and Beth again, and that was cool. And they sang Jabberwocky. I was not aware it had been put to music, but it was AWESOME!!! And they had props, like lightsabers. I am in love.

2. I LIKE JESSICA SNIDE. We have things in common, she listens to me babble, I like to talk to her, she is very nice, she is touchy-feely, she is not a bad actress, and yes she goes through men like popcorn but so what? I am not ashamed of liking her, nor do I feel that there is any reason for me not to like her. Therefore, I would like to respectfully request, because Jes is my friend, that people, not anyone specific, just anyone who does not like her, which is most of my friends, please do not insult her/make fun of her/make Snide comments about her in front of me. Please. I hate being in the middle and I don't want to fight about it. You do not have to like her, but I do and I would really appreciate it if you would not talk negatively about her in front of me. (Well, in a perfect world no one would talk bad about anyone ever...But in a perfect world I'd be married to Johnny Depp and have him do his sexy accents in bed, so we won't go there.)

3. A poem for Erin:

Erin, oh Erin, oh what can I say

About the girl who’s obsessed with Green Day?

Billie Joe is her love and her life,

(Though it’d be much better if he did not have a wife.)

The colors she likes are black and red,

Just like the hair that’s on top of her head.

A newly made Techie, she likes it a lot;

Making sure every box is in just the right spot.

She batons like a pro, Erin my friend,

She’s flexible too; through hoops she can bend!

She’s tall and she’s pretty, and wears a white tie,

And gets asked a million times a day why.

She’s a music madam, not a pimp!

And has many nicknames, none of them "shrimp."

We call her Jellybean, Sophomore, and Sam,

And sometimes even Erin, damn!

But whatever we call her, we love her still,

When we’re in the mall, or when we chill.

If she left, we’d want here back,

And no one hesitates to buy her crack!

Today I love: The Spanish Inquisition

Today I hate: Standing at the sink, and knowing you're going to throw up, but currently being able to do nothing but stare miserably at the toothbrush holder.
